BJJ is suitable for both men and women with our club boasting a number of female students who attend regularly to our mixed, adult BJJ classes in Wigan.
A BJJ gi (uniform) is required for CSBJJ classes. One can be ordered through the club if you do not already own a gi. They come in a choice of black, blue or white. If you would like to borrow a gi to use for the lesson, the fee is £5 per use.
CSBJJ follows the traditional BJJ belt system of white, blue, purple, brown and black belts, with each belt acquiring 4 stripes before the progression to the next coloured belt. Stripes and belts are earned through regular attendance and the application of the techniques learned in class during live sparring and rolling.
